Melbourne Fashion Festival, International Women’s Day breakfast

LOVED speaking at a Country Road Group hosted International Women's Day breakfast panel (held on 8 March @ 730am, Fed Square) as part of Melbourne Fashion Festival.

My key takeaway from the fascinating and fantastic conversation is that significant, positive changes around what we make, what we wear and how we engage without clothing are already taking place and the momentum is building for deeper, faster change at scale.

The future - like our fashion choices - can be bright, bold, creative and wonderful!

I spoke to Antony Funnell, host of ABC’S Radio National podcast, Future Tense, about fashion. How fast can we go and what are the ramifications of this unsustainable model of production and consumption on our world? He has since written a follow up story also which is well worth a read.

The Guardian, 22 November 2021
